Thing needed: Gmail Account
- Go to www.google.com/alerts, it might ask you to sign in, do so with your gmail info.
- Where it says “Create a Google Alert”, under “Search terms” type something like @www.xxxsite.com/members/. Under “Type” choose “Web” or “Blogs” or “Comprehensive”. As “How Often” choose as it happens and click create alert.
- You’re done, as soon as a link is released publicaly or posted on a website it should send you the alert.
- Patience, an e-mail will arrive……… (it’s random, I posted an alarm at 5:00 pm and received an e-mail at 2:54 am)

A ‘Groups’ alert is an email aggregate of new posts that contain the search terms of your choice and appear in the top fifty results of your Google Groups search.
A ‘Comprehensive’ alert is an aggregate of the latest results from multiple sources into a single email to provide maximum coverage on the topic of your choice.
